If you already have your TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, you need to ensure that you have attained competency in addressing adult language, literacy and numeracy skills to meet the requirements of the new TAE40116 qualification.
The TAE training package was released on 6th April 2016 with the inclusion of two new compulsory core units in the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This means that you will need to complete these two units to ensure that your qualification is up to date. RMT can help you complete this upgrade using a number of flexible training options to suit your workplace commitments and level of experience.
So why is it important to address adult language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills?
The unit TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills gives you a greater ability to support students throughout their learning journey by introducing you to the core adult language, literacy and numeracy demands of training and assessment so you’ll be able to tailor training and assessment to suit individual skill levels, including accessing relevant support resources.
If you’re a trainer in nationally accredited training programs, ensuring you have the competency in addressing LNN is crucial, both on a personal and compliance level.
